Job Summary
Assistant Nurse Manager for the Opioid Treatment Program (OTP) in Bronx, NY. Supervises nursing personnel, ensuring adherence to facility and nursing department policies, procedures, and regulatory mandates. Responsible for opening/closing the OTP and oversight of the Mobile Medication Unit, supervising staff, assisting with policy interpretation, managing controlled-substance inventory, generating required reports, participating in staff recruitment and evaluation, coordinating with regulatory changes, ensuring adequate staffing and payroll processing, contributing to CQI activities, and providing health education and medication administration support within OTP and Mobile Unit. Strong emphasis on regulatory compliance, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration with the Director of Nursing; bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Current NYS Registered Nurse License.
- Current NYS Infection Control Certificate and BCLS Completion Card
- Minimum three (3) years’ experience as a RN, preferably in a substance use disorder treatment program.
- Minimum one (1) year experience in a supervisory/management position.
- Proficiency with computer operation (Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook, Electronic Health Records, etc.)
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to interact with service recipients of diverse social, cultural and economic groups.
- Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
