Job Summary
Manage clinical and operational activities within assigned shifts by supporting the director/manager in planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating unit services. Direct and evaluate performance of clinical and non-clinical caregivers while ensuring compliance with professional nursing standards, regulatory requirements, and clinical priorities. Implement and monitor adherence to policies and processes to deliver quality health care to patients. This leadership role focuses on coaching, mentoring, and collaborating to uphold the mission of patient-focused, whole-person care at Providence Kodiak Alaska Medical Center.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree: Graduate from School of nursing (BS or BSN)
- Registered Nurses employed in this role prior to November 1, 2024 are encouraged to pursue the BSN degree but obtaining the degree will not be a condition of employment
- Upon hire: Alaska Registered Nurse License
- Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

- Recent clinical experience in an acute care hospital
- Charge Nurse/Relief Charge Nurse experience
- Leadership experience
- Shared Governance experience
