Job Summary
Lead a team of nurses and clinical support staff while delivering direct patient care in the Emergency Department. Assist with supervising administrative and operational activities, including planning unit goals, maintaining readiness for regulatory surveys, and implementing change management initiatives. Serve as a professional role model, mentor, and clinical resource to foster interdisciplinary collaboration and optimal patient outcomes. Work evenings and nights for 40 weekly hours. Requires a current RN license, BLS, and unit-specific certifications such as ACLS or PALS. Two years of nursing experience with at least one year in the desired acuity level is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science Nursing (strongly preferred)
- Current RN license in state they are working or covered by compact
- 2 years nursing experience
- 1 year minimum clinical experience in the acuity level of desired area
- Charge nurse or management experience

- NRP Neonatal Resuscitation Program
- TNCC Trauma Nurse Core Curriculum
- ENPC Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course

- Nurse Executive Certification or designated specialty certification
