Assistant Nurse Manager Emergency Department

Coordinate patient care, personnel management, and equipment maintenance for the Emergency Department. Manage individual staff by hiring, training, assigning work, and evaluating performance to meet operational goals. Develop departmental staffing, revenue, and expense budgets while overseeing patient care interventions and documentation. Create collaborative care plans based on assessments and diagnosis, then review staff hours, approve daily payroll updates, and reconcile time cards. Lead staff communications, prepare huddle agendas, and determine staffing needs including overtime assignments. Conduct performance evaluations, recommend annual increases, and handle disciplinary actions.
