Job Summary
Interim Assistant Nurse Manager, Emergency Department for a 250+ bed hospital in California. Responsibilities include oversite of daily operations, policy adherence, staff management, handling patient complaints and escalations; conducting regular rounding focused on workplace safety and ER charting support; stepping in as lead/charge nurse to support critical care areas and team workflow; enforcing established processes. Requires BSN or BA in health care related field (masters preferred), CA RN license, and RN leadership/clinical nursing experience. Certifications in BLS/ACLS/PALS/CEN preferred; Epic EMR experience. Housing/airfare/rental car expenses covered during assignment.
Required Qualifications
- BSN or BA in health care related field required
- Masters preferred
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Minimum of 2 years leadership experience
- Minimum of 3 years clinical nursing experience
- Current CA RN license
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, CEN preferred
- EMR: Epic
