Job Summary
Provide clinical and administrative leadership at the unit level, helping to build a brand-new Medical-Surgical unit designed for collaboration and quality patient care. Drive team performance, patient outcomes, and staff engagement through structured leadership onboarding, mentorship, and autonomy to shape team culture. Complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing, and successfully finish Leader Education & Training. This role blends clinical practice with leadership development at Novant Health Scotts Hill Medical Center, offering relocation support and a blend of clinical practice and leadership development.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 4 Year / Bachelors Degree BSN
- Current RN licensure in appropriate state
- NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions (facility specific) within 3 months of hire for Emergency Departments and Behavioral Health units
- Unit/Dept Specific Required Certifications
- Successful completion of generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing
- Ability to successfully complete Leader Education & Training
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate Degree
- Minimum of two years of clinical RN experience
- Prior demonstrated nursing leadership
