Job Summary
Mentor, supervise, and evaluate the nursing team to inspire professional growth while managing day shift scheduling. Handle patient relations issues and regularly assess unit operations to identify process improvements that enhance the patient experience. Coordinate patient care activities based on established priorities, including teaching, rounding, counseling, and discharge planning, while directing and delegating to the health care team. Communicate effectively with patients, significant others, and team members regarding the patient's plan of care. Apply sound nursing judgment in patient care management decisions by assessing patient needs and responses to rendered care. Requires a BSN, RN license in New York, and ACLS/BLS certification. Posted salary range $58.84 - $80.70 /Hr.
Required Qualifications
- BSN
- Minimally one year related clinical experience
- RN Licensed professional nurse in the State of New York
- ACLS and BLS certified from the American Heart Association
- Competent in data collection and analysis and the application of statistical tools
Desired Qualifications
- Master's Degree
- Related Certification (ex: CNAMB, CGRN, CNOR, CNML)
- Management experience
