Oversee staff and unit operations while providing direct patient care in the Emergency Department, ensuring safe and quality care delivery. Manage patient assignments, coordinate admissions and discharges, and lead rounds to resolve patient care issues. Supervise team members through performance management, coaching, and mentoring, while assisting with payroll processing and budget allocation. Maintain compliance with safety, regulatory, and infection control standards, including preparation for Joint Commission visits.
