Job Summary
Assistant Night Stock Department Manager responsible for supervising Night Stock employees, unloading trucks, stocking merchandise, and ensuring department standards for customer service, cleanliness, and profitability. Leads in training and guiding night stock crew, schedules, monitors overtime, and coordinates with store management. Responsibilities include coordinating orders to warehouse, supervising inventory and RPM system, handling vendor deliveries, ensuring safe and efficient store operations, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining compliance with company policies. Strong emphasis on leadership, problem-solving, and ability to manage multiple duties in a fast-paced retail environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Three to five years of similar or related work experience
- Supervisory responsibilities
- Ability to solve practical problems; arithmetic with fractions, decimals, and percentages
- Must be able to read and interpret instructions and maintain various records
