Job Summary
Assist in radiography and nondestructive testing operations to ensure quality and safe work products. Set up and operate equipment for NDT inspections, and interpret radiographic images under supervision. Prepare inspection records and maintain equipment to ensure proper functioning. Adhere to industrial radiation procedures and safe work practices set by company, state, and federal regulations. Communicate effectively with team members and operations management while meeting project schedules. Participate in training and development to expand knowledge of procedures and codes. Maintain a positive attitude while representing NVI and engage in on-the-job training.
Required Qualifications
- Required to pass a 40 Hour Industrial Radiography Course (if not already obtained).
- High School Diploma, GED, and/or advanced education.
- Valid State Driver's License and able to pass a Motor Vehicle History Evaluation.
- Able to pass FBI background verification in accordance with Company's Increased Controls program.
- Required to pass Drug/Alcohol, Fit for Duty, and Ergonomic Testing policies/procedures.
Desired Qualifications
- State Trainee Card designation.
- State Radiographers Card and/or IRRSP Card.
- Certification(s) or Documented field hours and classroom education that meets or exceeds SNT-TC-1A certification requirements for methods MT, PT, and UT Certifications.
