Job Summary
Supports the Global Merchandising Team across the product lifecycle, manages sample processes and tracking, prepares weekly sales reports, and assists with seasonal market appointments. Creates style boards detailing styles, color, season, and delivery dates; updates purchase orders and maintains pricing/markdown files; collaborates with Design, Sourcing, and Channel Partners to understand the product development lifecycle; conducts weekly market research and competitive analysis; requires strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills and proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in fashion merchandising, business, or related field
- Experience in a retail environment and/or experience in merchandise buying preferred; could be full-time or through internships
- Ability to work as part of a team and interact effectively with others
- Strong organizational, planning, administrative, and written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint and Excel)
