Job Summary
Support the merchandising team in developing and executing merchandising strategies, including setup and maintenance of line and assortment plans. Assist in creating SKUs and UPCs, inputting and maintaining lists across platforms while reconciling discrepancies in costing, size scales, and item attributes within Netsuite & Toolio. Handle purchase order exports and uploads, collaborate with sourcing on adjustments, and update weekly reports and launch guides. Build relationships with cross-functional stakeholders including Digi-Merch, Visual Merchandising, IT, and Marketing to support merchandising initiatives. Manage market research, ad-hoc reporting, and miscellaneous projects as needed. This 12-month contract starts at $55,000 and reports to a Merchandise Manager.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Fashion Merchandising, Business or Management
- Previous experience in merchandising, product management, or related roles, preferably in the apparel industry
- Intermediate knowledge of Excel (VLOOKUPS, Pivot Tables)
- Experience with merchandising software/tools (e.g., retail planning systems, product lifecycle management software, basic Adobe Illustrator)
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in retail math
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to communicate with cross-functional partners and build consensus
