Job Summary
Assistant Merchandiser at Boden supports the Junior Merchandiser to plan and deliver profitable, customer-focused ranges by analyzing data, forecasting line cards, managing stock, and leading trade processes. The role involves collating data to identify trends and risks, participating in range planning, generating size ratios, overseeing PO management, monitoring stock targets, leading weekly intake meetings, supporting the monthly WSSI process, proposing markdown strategies, and preparing Monday Trade packs for trade meetings. The position requires strong numerical ability, excellent Excel and analytics, attention to detail, effective communication, and a collaborative, proactive mindset. The role is based in London with a hybrid schedule (3-4 days in the North Acton office and 1-2 days working from home). Required Qualifications
- Prior experience as a Merch Admin Assistant or Assistant Merchandiser
- Highly organised with the ability to manage priorities in a structured and efficient way
- Confident working with data, with strong Excel and analytical skills
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and influence stakeholders
- Experience supporting or mentoring more junior team members
- A collaborative approach, comfortable working cross-functionally
- Commercially aware, with good judgement and problem-solving ability
- Proactive and self-motivated, able to take ownership and work independently
