Job Summary
Coordinate and supervise Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing trade contractors while managing project labor, subcontractors, and craft worker certifications. Monitor weekly labor reports, review timecards, and participate in site orientation and safety meetings. Manage scope of work production boards, Plans of Day, and equipment coordination for cranes and trailers. Support schedule development, verify quantity takeoffs, and oversee quality control for self-perform and subcontractor work. Provide guidance on set-up, work-in-place, and project closeout activities. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Construction or Engineering with five years of construction supervision and management experience. Base pay ranges from $95,700 to $129,200, with higher incentives for Denver, Chicago, Seattle, Portland, and Washington D.C. locations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction, Civil, or Architectural Engineering or Construction Management, or equivalent experience
- Minimum five years construction supervision or related experience
- Minimum five years construction management or related experience, preferably with a Mechanical or Electrical Contractor
- Electrical circuitry qualified or ability to be qualified by Mortenson Electrical Managers, if necessary
- Proven positive and professional attitude, and strong customer service skills
- Ability to interpret and communicate Mortenson policies
- Current Driver's license
- Must be currently legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship for employment visa status
Desired Qualifications
- Completion of or interest in Master, Journeyman, or Apprentice electrician program preferred
