Assistant Mens Lacrosse Coach

Job Summary
Assist the Head Coach in recruiting and evaluating prospective student athletes; plan and conduct practices; provide on-field coaching instruction; develop individual players and review film; scout opponents and prepare for games using HUDL, JustPlay and other platforms; contribute to game-day operations, travel coordination, academic mentoring of student-athletes; assist with camps, clinics, fundraising, and alumni engagement; create social media content and promote the program; manage equipment and operations; assist with administrative duties including ARMS/Teamworks management and NCAA compliance; support building a championship-caliber program; must possess a Bachelor's degree and have a minimum of two years coaching experience, lacrosse operations experience, or collegiate playing experience; required/desired credentials include strong organizational and communication skills, driving eligibility, CPR First Aid AED certification, and alignment with Baptist Faith & Message 2000 and University policies; position requires travel and non-traditional athletic schedules.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Minimum of two years coaching experience, lacrosse operations experience, or collegiate playing experience preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Computer competency
- Ability to relate with various constituencies of the university
- Commitment to the mission of the university
- Commitment to NCAA, Conference, and University rules
- Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record
- Currently credentialed/willingness to become CPR, First Aid and AED certified
- Affirm an understanding of, and willingness not to advocate contrary to, the Baptist Faith & Message 2000
- Affirm understanding of the University’s Statement on Human Flourishing
- Agree to abide by the employee handbooks, including community standards agreements
