Job Summary
Assist the Head Men's Lacrosse Coach with recruiting, scouting, and practice planning, with special emphasis on keeper strategy. Manage practice and competition day activities for all players, and help organize camps and clinics as assigned. Provide positive leadership for student-athletes while ensuring compliance with NCAA rules and regulations. Pass the NCAA Coaches Certification Exam annually and maintain CPR and First Aid certification. Work 20 weekly hours in Arlington, Virginia, with the ability to travel, work nights/weekends, and handle heavy lifting.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 1 to 3 years of lacrosse experience
- CPR and First Aid certified
- Know and comply with all NCAA rules and regulations
- Pass the NCAA Coaches Certification Exam annually
- Ability to travel
- Heavy lifting required (50 pounds and over)
- Ability to work when the university is closed
- Ability to work in less than ideal weather conditions
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and some holidays
- Background check
