Job Summary
Assist the Head Coach in all aspects of the baseball program, including recruiting players, holding tryouts, and supervising staff and student-athletes during travel and games. Conduct practices and games, organize scheduling, and ensure compliance with USCAA rules and student-athlete eligibility requirements. Monitor academic performance to promote student-athlete success and maintain high moral and ethical standards. Travel with the team and drive vans to games when required, adhering to flexible hours for practices and recruiting.
Required Qualifications
- Baseball coaching experience at the high school level or above
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, planning and leadership skills
- Must be able to serve as a positive role model for young adults
- Clean driving record and a valid Driver License
- Flexible hours for practicing and recruiting
- Hours vary from day, evening, weekends, holidays to best fit the needs of the team
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree Preferred
- Baseball coaching experience at the college level
- College recruiting experience
- Familiar with the Buffalo area high schools and club teams
- First aid/CPR certification is a plus
- Familiarity with USCAA rules and regulations is a plus
