Job Summary
Assist Medical Director to ensure delivery of high-quality veterinary care and maintain a positive, professional hospital environment. Responsibilities include overseeing medical care, developing and maintaining medical policies and SOPs (including infection control and patient safety), partnering with hospital leadership to investigate safety concerns and drive quality initiatives, ensuring client and patient satisfaction, mentoring DVMs and technical staff, and filling in for the Medical Director as needed. Lead by example to foster collaboration, support professional development, and drive operational excellence within the veterinary team.
Required Qualifications
- DVM or equivalent degree
- Licensed to practice veterinary medicine in the state in which the hospital is based.
- Excellent organizational and administrative skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent Leadership skills
