Job Summary
Assist in medical and vaccine program operations by preparing exam rooms, taking vitals, documenting in EMR, and supporting providers with exams and procedures. Maintain VFC and private vaccine storage and logs, administer immunizations and point-of-care tests, document results, coordinate referrals, and handle front-office duties including appointment scheduling and insurance verification. Travel between clinic sites is required; must have valid driver license and adhere to HIPAA, infection control, and safety standards. Strong patient communication, teamwork, and organizational skills are essential.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- One (1) year experience in a healthcare environment
- One (1) year experience providing office reception services
- Current Medical Assistant certification (CMA) is preferred, but not mandatory
