Job Summary
Assistant Meat PIC responsible for cutting, trimming and preparing raw meat using band saws and knives, operating grinder and tenderizer, and managing display, merchandising, and order quantities to optimize sales. Provides customer service, schedules and supervises meat department team members in the absence of the Meat PIC, ensures sanitation, health-code compliance, and operates equipment with safety procedures. Full-time role with evening, weekend, and holiday requirements; in-person office location with reliable commute or relocation needed; starting pay $23/hour with automatic raises based on hours worked.
Required Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or GED is preferred
- 3 years meat department experience preferred
- Food Handling Certification as required by local government
