Job Summary
Assist Meat Manager in day-to-day operations of the meat department, supervise department associates, coordinate sales and merchandising plans, ensure proper stock levels, freshness, and product handling, help with scheduling and training, handle customer questions and special requests, maintain order and cleanliness, ensure compliance with safety and company procedures, and support cost control and inventory activities while delivering friendly customer service.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required
- Associate or bachelor's degree in business related or food service-related field desirable
- Minimum (2) years' experience in management in a retail/restaurant/supermarket environment
- Meat management experience preferred
