Assistant Materials Manager

Supervise plant Master Schedulers and Material Analysts, focusing on transportation and inventory needs while acting as the lead CBR SME for training and audit functions. Ensure excellent customer contact, meet reporting and auditing requirements for TS16949 certification, and maintain data integrity through stock control systems. Participate in new launch teams for project management, drive cost reduction initiatives, and develop inventory control strategies. Work with suppliers to ensure full and on-time delivery, advocate for environmental initiatives, and ensure employee induction compliance with OHS&E systems. Establish database parameters for Material Requirement Planning and manage subordinate record-keeping accuracy. Minimize inventory levels and submit obsolescence claims as needed.
