Job Summary
As an Assistant Manager at World Market, you will lead and develop a high-performance team while driving a customer-first selling culture and executing daily business priorities. You will partner with the Store Manager across Customer Experience, Freight Flow, Operations, and Merchandising to analyze trends, problem-solve opportunities, and maintain our values, policies, and standards. Responsibilities include recruiting and coaching a customer-focused team, ensuring Loss Prevention and inventory controls, maintaining safety and training, and delivering daily tasks and priorities with a sense of urgency. You will need strong communication, delegation, and decision-making skills, the ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs, and the flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays based on business needs. Full-time and part-time associates are eligible for company benefits after specified service requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2+ years of leadership experience in a fast-paced specialty retail environment
- Minimum age: 21 years
