Job Summary
Oversee daily shop operations including retail, production, sanitation, and delivery functions while ensuring compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations. Assist with recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and developing team members through coaching, feedback, and performance support to drive sales performance and profitability. Manage labor, product costs, waste, and controllable expenses while maintaining inventory controls and supporting opening, closing, and shift change procedures. Resolve guest concerns professionally and maintain a clean, organized environment across retail, production, and storage areas. Work flexible schedules including early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and occasional overnight shifts based on business needs.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1–3 years of restaurant, retail, hospitality, or food service supervisory experience
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and operational procedures
- Ability to obtain and maintain required food safety certifications
- Ability to work flexible schedules including early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts as needed
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to support nearby shop locations as business needs require
- Ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance
- Ability to lift and carry objects ranging from 0–75 lbs (frequent, occasional, or team-lift depending on weight)
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during the work shift
- Ability to push and pull approximately 10–40 lbs of force occasionally
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with guests, team members, and leadership
- Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing business conditions
- Ability to analyze operational issues and make timely decisions
- Ability to lead, coach, and support team members effectively
- Ability to handle guest concerns and operational challenges professionally
- Ability to maintain focus in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
- Ability to use POS systems and basic computer applications
- Ability to perform and assign cleaning tasks including sanitizing equipment, sweeping, mopping, removing trash, cleaning restrooms, and maintaining production areas
