Job Summary
Assistant Manager at Krispy Kreme supports the General Manager in overseeing daily shop operations to ensure guest service, product quality, food safety, and profitability. You’ll lead and develop team members, uphold brand standards, drive sales performance, manage inventory and scheduling, and maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests and employees. Responsibilities include recruiting, onboarding, training, coaching hourly staff, ensuring adherence to procedures, monitoring staffing and production schedules, managing cash handling and POS operations, resolving guest concerns, and supporting promotional programs and financial controls.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1–3 years of restaurant, retail, hospitality, or food service supervisory experience preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and operational procedures.
- Ability to obtain and maintain required food safety certifications.
- Experience with cash handling, inventory management, and scheduling preferred.
- Proficiency with POS systems and basic computer applications.
- Ability to work flexible schedules including early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts as needed.
- Reliable transportation and ability to support nearby shop locations as business needs require.
