Job Summary
Oversee daily shop operations including retail, production, sanitation, and delivery functions while ensuring compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations. Lead and develop team members through recruiting, hiring, training, and coaching to support succession planning and maintain a positive work environment. Manage labor, product costs, and inventory controls to drive sales performance and profitability, while resolving guest concerns and enforcing brand standards. Variable schedules including early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and occasional overnight shifts are required. This Assistant Manager role at WKS Krispy Kreme, LLC, supports the District Leader in maintaining operational excellence and guest satisfaction across the shop.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1–3 years of restaurant, retail, hospitality, or food service supervisory experience
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and operational procedures
- Ability to obtain and maintain required food safety certifications
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work flexible schedules including early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts as needed
- Ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance
- Ability to obtain and maintain required food safety certifications
Desired Qualifications
- College coursework
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Experience with cash handling, inventory management, and scheduling
- Proficiency with POS systems and basic computer applications
