Job Summary
Lead daily food service operations as Kitchen Assistant Manager, supporting the Store Manager in achieving sales, operational, and guest-satisfaction goals. Create excellent guest experiences with quality food and a welcoming store environment; recruit, train, and develop a high-performing, people-focused team; drive food sales, manage inventory, and maintain strong vendor relationships; uphold brand standards and readiness for inspections; lead food safety and ServSafe compliance; act as Store Manager when needed. Requires 3–5 years of food service/retail management experience (or equivalent), HS diploma or GED (associate/bachelor’s preferred), strong interpersonal skills, basic P&L and business-math understanding, tech and POS proficiency, ability to travel for training, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years of food service or retail management experience (or equivalent)
- High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Basic business acumen, including P&L understanding and business math
- Comfort using technology and POS systems
- Willingness to travel for training
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
