Job Summary
As an Assistant Manager, you will support the General Manager in leading restaurant operations, ensuring smooth daily processes, developing team members, and fostering an exceptional guest experience. You will drive sales, uphold food safety standards, and encourage a positive work environment. The role requires strong leadership capabilities, effective communication, and problem-solving skills, along with a solid understanding of restaurant operations and P&L management.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ months of restaurant industry experience, preferably in a supervisory or shift-lead role
- Ability to stand for extended periods and travel locally as needed
- Be able to lift up to 50lbs
- Create and maintain genuine, uplifting interactions
- Be able to work outside for prolonged periods, in all weather conditions
- Use of standard restaurant equipment (headsets, registers, grills) and adherence to brand guidelines
Desired Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of food safety procedures
- Experience with recruiting, interviewing, training, and performance management
- Ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams at all levels
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Understanding of employment laws (federal, state, and local)
