Job Summary
Supervise and coordinate all warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, inventory management, order fulfilment, and shipping in compliance with company policies and safety regulations. Maintain accurate inventory systems through regular cycle counts and audits while overseeing proper storage and handling of products. Lead and develop a team of warehouse staff by scheduling tasks, conducting performance reviews, and implementing Operational Excellence initiatives to drive efficiency and reduce costs. Identify process improvement opportunities, resolve operational bottlenecks, and collaborate with Purchase, Production, Lab, and Logistics departments to ensure smooth coordination. Ensure the warehouse remains organized, clean, and safe through regular inspections and employee training. Requires 10+ years of experience, an MBA in Operations/Supply Chain Management, SAP WM module proficiency, and bilingual skills in Kannada and English.
Required Qualifications
- 10 + years
- Basic degree
- MBA in Operations/Supply Chain Management with specialization in warehouse domain
- Working knowledge of the WM module in SAP (Mandatory)
- Proficiency in Kannada and English
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and managerial skills
- Excellent supervisory abilities
- Good understanding and exposure to global work culture
- Strong reporting and documentation skills
- Highly self-motivated and directed
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
- Strong customer service orientation
