Assistant Manager - VOS Engineering

Job Summary
Lead World area VOS Engineering projects by reading customer specifications, defining scope, and driving the creation of wiring, schematic, and general arrangement drawings. Collaborate with sales and project management teams to understand requirements, manage project timelines, identify risks, and execute change orders while maintaining engineering standards. Verify manufacturing designs, bills of materials, and all engineering documents before release, troubleshoot operational problems, and guide team members in problem-solving and decision-making. Measure team output against key performance indicators like RDSL and quality, develop training materials, and create work instructions to foster technical competency across the group.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Equivalent
- 10-12 years of overall experience in CAD and PLM tools
- Supervisor Experience including setting up annual objectives, performance evaluation, identifying & planning upskilling of team members
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment and mentoring the team
- Ability to drive change and effectively handle multiple priorities
- Strong Management Competencies
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Proficiency in solidedge/ Creo, Team center/ Windchill/ Enovia
- Expert user in ERP, preferably Oracle & SAP
