Job Summary
Welcome and connect with every customer as a brand ambassador while overseeing daily café operations, including opening and closing procedures. Assist in inventory management, maintain a clean environment across all areas, and contribute to store profitability through strict cash handling protocols. Collaborate with the Manager to develop growth strategies, train and mentor team members, and conduct quality control checks on espresso, mod bar, and batch brewer equipment. Recalibrate and troubleshoot equipment as necessary, facilitate in-store tastings of new whole bean offerings, and support local event planning. Work in collaboration with the Training department for lab trainings, shadow shifts, and seasonal rollouts. Ensure fluency in all menu items and accurately communicate product information to customers.
Required Qualifications
- Must maintain current state-issued Food Handler Card
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and basic culinary techniques
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Ability to communicate effectively with others, written and verbally
- MS Office and Google Suite experience
- Inclusive, respectful and professional and the ability to work as part of a team
- Strong leadership abilities and a positive attitude
- The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Must be available for weekends and Holidays

Desired Qualifications
- 2+ years in a supervisory role in the food and beverage industry experience is preferred
- coffee experience is plus
