Job Summary
Assistant Manager role with a 5-week manager-training course, responsible for maintaining store staff by interviewing, hiring, and developing employees; creating a positive, respectful environment for employees and customers; meeting self-performance metrics and helping develop employees to meet their metrics; analyzing daily sales information to maximize sales; meeting banking, safety, operations and legal requirements; controlling expenses (labor, inventory, maintenance); assigning, managing, and following up on daily tasks to keep the store clean, stocked, and organized; providing exceptional customer service and resolving customer issues.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- 1 year of supervisory experience
- Ability to effectively motivate others
- Must be able to stand, bend, walk for long periods of time
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds without assistance
- Reliable transportation
- High school diploma or equivalent
