Job Summary
Assistant Manager role with a 5-week manager-training course. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and developing employees; creating a positive, respectful environment for staff and customers; meeting performance metrics and helping employees meet theirs; analyzing daily sales information to maximize sales; ensuring banking, safety, operations, and legal requirements are met; controlling expenses related to labor, inventory, and maintenance; assigning and following up on daily tasks to keep the store clean, stocked, and organized; and providing exceptional customer service while resolving issues.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years old
- 1 year of supervisory experience
- Ability to motivate others
- Stand, bend, walk for long periods
- Lift 25 pounds without assistance
- Reliable transportation
- High school diploma or equivalent
