Job Summary
Assistant Manager responsible for monitoring sales growth and cost control against budget, maintaining a professional image and sanitation standards, training and developing crew, driving operational excellence in both front of the house and back of the house, managing cost of goods and labor, understanding P&L reports and budgets, and building cafe sales by cultivating relationships with customers and community members; ServSafe certification preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of managerial experience in the restaurant or fast-casual field
- Experience training & developing employees
- Experience in growing sales & providing excellent customer service
- Demonstrated ability to drive operational excellence in both front of the house & back of the house
- Must have a proven track record of managing cost of goods & labor
- Strong skills in understanding P&L reports & budgets
- Basic computer skills
- ServSafe certification preferred
- Effective verbal & written communication skills
