Job Summary
Big 5 Sporting Goods seeks a Part-time Assistant Manager Trainee who will gain management experience and knowledge under the guidance of experienced personnel in a structured training program. Key responsibilities include customer sales and service, merchandising, answering inquiries, enforcing company policies, training associates, and inventory control. Ideal candidates are enthusiastic, energetic, and have a solid customer service background or educational path suited for the sports retail industry.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Must possess High School diploma, GED, High School Equivalency, certificated equivalent and/or relevant experience
- Must possess basic organizational and/or applicable math skills
- Must possess effective and demonstrable interactive and communicative skills
