Job Summary
In this entry-level, full-time role, Assistant Manager Trainees gain the knowledge and experience necessary for promotion to management positions within Big 5 Sporting Goods. Responsibilities include driving sales, managing customer service operations, overseeing store procedures in the absence of the Store Manager, and handling merchandising and compliance with company policies. Candidates must be enthusiastic, customer service-oriented, and have basic organizational and math skills. This position is intended to last 6-18 months before promotion, offering a structured training program for management development. Required Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Must possess High School diploma, GED, High School Equivalency, certificated equivalent and/or relevant experience
