Job Summary
The Assistant Manager Trainee at Big 5 Sporting Goods is responsible for the successful operation of the store in the absence of the Store Manager, driving sales, and performing customer service duties. Responsibilities also include overseeing sales activities, managing merchandise organization, enforcing company policies, coaching employees, and maintaining inventory control. Candidates must be at least 21 years old, possess a high school diploma or equivalent, and demonstrate effective communication skills. This role is designed for entry-level individuals aiming for promotion to management within 6-18 months.
Required Qualifications
