Job Summary
The Assistant Manager Trainee role involves gaining knowledge and experience required for promotion to management positions. Responsibilities include customer sales and service, store operations including opening and closing, oversight of departments, coaching employees, and enforcing company policies. The position is designed for enthusiastic and sports-minded individuals with a strong customer service background. The experience lasts generally 6-18 months before transitioning into a management role.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Must possess High School diploma, GED, High School Equivalency, certificated equivalent and/or relevant experience
- Must possess basic organizational and/or applicable math skills
- Must possess effective and demonstrable interactive and communicative skills
