Job Summary
Join Big 5 Sporting Goods as an Assistant Manager Trainee, where you'll gain the knowledge and experience necessary for promotion to management. Responsibilities include driving sales, customer service, store operation in the absence of the Store Manager, merchandising, and enforcing company policies. This role requires strong communication skills, basic math competency, and the ability to coach and manage staff. A structured training program is provided to assist in transitioning to higher management positions.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Must possess High School diploma, GED, High School Equivalency, certificated equivalent and/or relevant experience
- Must possess basic organizational and/or applicable math skills
- Must possess effective and demonstrable interactive and communicative skills
