Job Summary
Oversee general management of production area employees and support the Center Manager in achieving production and cost goals while maintaining regulatory compliance. Participate in staff selection, training, and performance feedback, including initiating disciplinary action when necessary. Ensure adherence to all federal, state, local, and company-specific rules regarding quality, donor safety, and employee safety. Work directly on the donor floor in various production roles to provide customer service, while contributing to the correction and prevention of audit findings. Report routine operational needs to management and maintain CPR/AED certification. This role is based in Ypsilanti, MI, with a salary range of $64,000 to $88,000.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Associate or bachelor's degree
- Minimum of one year of relevant work experience in a regulated industry or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- The ability to work weekends, extended work periods and occasionally travel
- A valid and current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and AED (Automatic External Defibrillator) certification
- The ability to be mobile for an entire work shift
- The ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, lean, reach above shoulders and below knees, and lift to 50 lbs
- Fine motor coordination
- Depth perception
- The ability to monitor equipment from a distance
