Job Summary
Manage daily restaurant operations by assisting the General Manager with inventory counts, truck orders, preventative maintenance, and cash control procedures. Direct the team toward meeting KPIs while ensuring food safety standards and brand compliance are upheld. Recruit, interview, and onboard new employees to build a positive culture, then motivate staff to deliver accurate, fast, and friendly service that resolves guest complaints. This role requires evening, weekend, and holiday availability, plus the ability to lift 50 pounds frequently. The Assistant Manager supports profitability through P&L interpretation and administrative activities within a single-unit environment.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1-2 years of previous quick service restaurant experience
- Available to work evenings, weekends and holidays
- Ability to work long and/or irregular shifts as needed, for proper functioning of the restaurant
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds of force frequently to move objects
- Ability to carry products/boxes and miscellaneous weighing no more than 50 pounds
- Consistently handles product preparation
