Job Summary
Oversee front-of-house team in the restaurant manager's absence, including the waiting and bar teams, to ensure high standards of training, hygiene, customer service, and efficiency. Collaborate with Kitchen Manager to ensure smooth operation. Mentor and train new staff, open/close shifts as key holder, and uphold Waffle House standards, policies, and procedures. Roles operate during days and early evenings with no split shifts or late nights; weekend, bank holiday, and summer holiday availability required. Harpenden location with focus on delivering an outstanding customer experience.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years experience relevant to the role
- Experience supervising or assistant managing in a busy restaurant environment
- Willingness to work weekends/bank holidays/summer holidays
- Ability to mentor and train new team members
- Ability to open and close shifts as key holder
