Job Summary
Facilitate ship maintenance operations by managing logistical, administrative, and procurement tasks, supporting Technical Operations Managers and Technical Ship Leaders. Responsibilities include developing execution plans, following up on purchase orders, and acting as the point of contact for ship technical issues. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Marine or Mechanical Engineering, proficiency in relevant software, and 3-5 years of related experience. The position involves data analysis and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field
- 3–5 years of experience in technical operations, marine engineering, or shipboard maintenance
- Ability to learn quickly
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
- Excellent communication and follow-up skills
- Strong interpersonal skills to work with others from multiple departments across CCL
- Outgoing and able to work in a diverse team
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with data visualization or reporting tools such as Power BI
- Strong proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Project (Gantt Chart), and Word
- Knowledge of marine technical and regulatory compliance
- Organizational skills to coordinate multiple ship activities simultaneously
Additional Requirements
- Candidates must be located in (or willing to relocate to) the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale area
- Travel: 25-50% with shipboard travel likely
