Job Summary
Assistant Manager at Charter Foods plays a key role in supporting the Restaurant General Manager to run shifts in a fast-paced environment, ensuring team members complete duties, managing inventory and financial accountability, and delivering safe, quality food to customers. The role requires supervisory experience in food service or retail, strong leadership, problem-solving, and basic math/computer skills, with a 50-hour work week and a focus on maintaining safety and brand standards.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- 1-3 years of supervisory experience in either a food service or retail environment, including Profit and Loss responsibility
- 50-Hour Work Week
- High School Diploma or GED preferred, but not required
- Basic computer literacy
- Must have reliable transportation
- Basic business math and accounting skills, and strong analytical/decision-making skills
- Able to sweep and mop floors, dust shelves, lift and carry out trash containers, and place them in an outside bin
- Able to clean the parking lot and grounds surrounding the restaurant
- Able to tolerate standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs., and stooping during 80% of shift time
