Assistant Manager

Monitor the pool area to prevent injuries, administer first aid or CPR, and rescue distressed persons using American Red Cross techniques. Maintain water quality by testing chemical levels and perform regular maintenance on filtration systems and sanitary facilities. Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise lifeguard staff to ensure a safe and clean swimming environment. Effectively contact emergency medical personnel for serious injuries and perform other work as assigned by management. This role supports SwimMetro's seasonal lifeguard staffing across Richmond, Midlothian, Mechanicsville, Glen Allen, and Chester facilities, offering flexible hours, further aquatics training, and opportunities to earn extra income through swim lessons or special events.
