Assistant Manager

Monitor the pool area to prevent injuries and provide care as necessary, examining injured persons and administering first aid or cardiopulmonary resuscitation using training, medical supplies, and equipment. Rescue distressed persons using American Red Cross techniques and equipment, while maintaining quality of pool water through chemical testing and filtration system maintenance. Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise lifeguard staff to ensure a safe and clean swimming environment. Contact emergency medical personnel for serious injuries and maintain sanitary conditions of all facilities including bathrooms and pool decks. Perform other work as assigned by management or supervisors. This role supports seasonal lifeguard staffing at 45+ facilities in Richmond, Midlothian, Mechanicsville, Glen Allen, and Chester, offering flexible hours, further aquatics training, and opportunities to earn extra income through Swim Lessons or Special Events.
