Job Summary
Support the Store Manager in all aspects of day-to-day operations, including running the register, coaching team members on upselling, and acting as manager when the Store Manager is off. Handle inventory, ordering, and merchandising to keep the store stocked, while maintaining cleanliness across restrooms, trash areas, and fuel pumps. Create and manage team schedules to ensure full coverage, perform daily cash handling and deposits, and oversee store financials. Provide leadership and feedback to motivate the team to excel in customer service and store success. Open availability for weekends, holidays, and second or third shifts is required, along with a valid driver's license and vehicle access for deposits. Minimum age is 18+ in most states and 21+ in others. Food Safety Certification is mandatory. Weekly pay, monthly bonus potential, 401(k), and PTO are included.
Required Qualifications
- Open Availability: You must be available to work weekends, holidays, and likely second or third shifts.
- Reliable Transportation: You must have a valid driver's license, access to a personal vehicle, and proof of insurance to complete bank deposits.
- Physical Readiness: Comfortable with tasks such as cleaning restrooms, taking out trash, and maintaining outside areas like pumps.
- Minimum Age Requirement: 18+ years old in AR, CT, FL, LA, MI, MA, MS, MO, NC, SC, TX, TN, AZ, and CO
- Minimum Age Requirement: 21+ years old in all other states
- Communication Skills: Proficient in English with basic math skills.
- Pass Pre-Employment Screenings: Drug test and background check required.
- Willing to Learn: Especially in Tennessee, where Topshelf Manager Training is required.
- Certification: Must have (or be able to obtain obtain) a Food Safety Certification
