Job Summary
Support the Store Manager in all aspects of day-to-day operations, including running the register, coaching team members on upselling, and stepping in as acting manager when needed. Manage inventory, ordering, and merchandising to keep the store fully stocked while maintaining a clean environment including restrooms and fuel pumps. Create team schedules for full coverage and handle daily cash handling, deposits, and oversee store financials. Assist with hiring, training, and leading a high-performing team focused on customer service and store success. Requires open availability for weekends, holidays, and second or third shifts, along with a valid driver's license and proof of insurance.
Required Qualifications
- Open Availability: You must be available to work weekends, holidays, and likely second or third shifts.
- Reliable Transportation: You must have a valid driver's license, access to a personal vehicle, and proof of insurance to complete bank deposits.
- Physical Readiness: Comfortable with tasks such as cleaning restrooms, taking out trash, and maintaining outside areas like pumps.
- Minimum Age Requirement: 21+ years old
- Communication Skills: Proficient in English with basic math skills.
- Willing to Learn: Especially in Tennessee, where Topshelf Manager Training is required.
- Certification: Must have (or be able to obtain obtain) a Food Safety Certification
