Job Summary
Support the Store Manager in all aspects of day-to-day operations, including running registers, coaching team members on upselling, and stepping in as acting manager. Manage inventory, ordering, and merchandising to keep the store stocked, while maintaining cleanliness across restrooms, trash areas, and fuel pumps. Create and manage team schedules for full coverage, handle daily cash handling and deposits, and oversee store financials. Provide leadership and feedback to motivate the team to excel in customer service and store success. Perform other duties as assigned, including cleaning tasks and acting as a steady hand during shifts. This role requires open availability for weekends, holidays, and second or third shifts, with a minimum age of 21 and a valid driver's license for deposits.
Required Qualifications
- Open Availability: You must be available to work weekends, holidays, and likely second or third shifts.
- Reliable Transportation: You must have a valid driver's license, access to a personal vehicle, and proof of insurance to complete bank deposits.
- Physical Readiness: Comfortable with tasks such as cleaning restrooms, taking out trash, and maintaining outside areas like pumps.
- Minimum Age Requirement: 21+ years old
- Communication Skills: Proficient in English with basic math skills.
- Certification: Must have (or be able to obtain obtain) a Food Safety Certification
