Job Summary
The Assistant Manager is responsible for ensuring outstanding service to every guest by following the Hi Five Guest Experience model. The role involves managing associates, overseeing store administration and guest services, ensuring a safe operation during shifts, and maintaining excellent store conditions. Key responsibilities include training associates, handling cash transactions, stocking merchandise, and ensuring store cleanliness and security. Candidates must have strong communication skills, the ability to manage and train others, and be able to work in various temperature conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to speak, hear and understand spoken English effectively
- Ability to see well enough to operate store equipment
- Ability to understand operating instructions for store equipment
- Ability to prepare DipSide items
- Ability to handle various forms of payment and make change accurately
- Ability to recognize numbers and complete records accurately
- Ability to move merchandise and clean surfaces
- Ability to tolerate various temperature ranges
- Ability to lift at least 10 pounds
- Ability to place heavier items into storage
